The soup ladle is used to ladle soup from the soup bowl into the plate. It consists of a handle and a ladle. Its design is implemented in such a way that its handling is easy and comfortable enough. In order to keep the ladle in its original appearance, follow the following guidelines even if you use the dishwasher :

• rinse the ladle after use to remove food residue, even if you plan to wash it later,
• put the ladle in the dishwasher with the ladle facing downwards so that the water can drain out after rinsing,
• choose a shorter wash cycle, or dry the ladle by hand after the cycle to prevent rust stains from food or detergent residues,
• if the ladle is left in the hot and humid environment of the dishwasher for too long, it can also corrode.

Keep in mind that a prerequisite for the ladle not to corrode is that you allow it to form a so-called "passivation layer" on the surface. This can be ensured by following the above-mentioned principles.
