Steak knife set 6 pieces includes: 6 x steak knife (220mm). The knives are made of steel marked X12Cr13 - chrome steel for knives. we recommend cleaning the hollow-handled knives by hand or in the dishwasher - do not use abrasive products.

Knife care

In order to maintain the original appearance of the knives, please observe the following guidelines even if you use a dishwasher :

• rinse the knives after use to remove food residue, even if you plan to wash them later,
• if possible, place the knives in the dishwasher in the designated basket with the blade facing upwards,
• cutlery must always be in an upright position in the dishwasher so that the water residue can run off after rinsing,
• choose a shorter wash cycle, or dry the knives by hand after the cycle to prevent rust stains from food or detergent residues,
• if the knives are left in the hot and humid environment of the dishwasher for too long, they can also corrode.

Keep in mind that a prerequisite for the cutlery not to corrode is that you allow it to form a so-called "passivation layer" on the surface. This is ensured by following the above principles and you will enjoy nice cutlery for a long time.
