Dessert spoon - Alpha

A dessert spoon is most often used at the table for scooping and eating food, usually when eating an appetizer. It is made of fully recyclable chrome nickel steel under 18/10, an ideal material for food contact. Due to its generally smaller size compared to the Table Spoon, it can also be used for children. the total length of the spoon is 175 mm.

Care of cutlery

To ensure that your cutlery retains its original appearance, follow these guidelines even if you use the dishwasher :

• rinse cutlery after use to remove food residue, even if you plan to wash it later,
• place the cutlery in the dishwasher in the designated basket, with the blade facing upwards and the other parts also facing upwards,
• the cutlery must always be in an upright position in the dishwasher so that the water residue can run off after rinsing,
• choose a shorter wash cycle or dry the cutlery by hand after the cycle to prevent rust stains caused by food or detergent residues,
• if cutlery is left in the hot and humid environment of the dishwasher for too long, it can also corrode.

Keep in mind that a prerequisite for the cutlery not to corrode is that you allow it to form a so-called "passivation layer" on the surface. This is ensured by following the above principles and you will enjoy nice cutlery for a long time.
