Description

A fish knife is most often used as an auxiliary tool during dining and subsequent consumption of food, especially when eating fish. it consists of a handle and a blade, which is shaped like a paddle and is used for separating bones and cutting fish. The knife can be made as a monoblock - one piece made of material marked 18/10, or made of two parts made of material 18/10, i.e. material suitable for contact with food. Total length 210 mm.

The fish knife can be bought separately or as part of a 12-piece cutlery set.

Care of cutlery

In order to keep the cutlery in its original appearance, please observe the following guidelines even if you use a dishwasher :

  • rinse cutlery after use to remove food residue, even if you plan to wash it later,
  • place the cutlery in the dishwasher in the designated basket, with the blade facing upwards and the other parts also facing upwards,
  • the cutlery must always be in an upright position in the dishwasher so that the water residue can run off after rinsing,
  • choose a shorter wash cycle or dry the cutlery by hand after the cycle to prevent rust stains caused by food or detergent residues,
  • if cutlery is left in the hot and humid environment of the dishwasher for too long, it can also corrode.

Keep in mind that a prerequisite for the cutlery not to corrode is that you allow it to form a so-called "passivation layer" on the surface. This is ensured by following the above principles and you will enjoy nice cutlery for a long time.
