Description

A dessert knife is most often used when dining and then eating food as an auxiliary tool for dividing food. Individually, it can also be used in cooking. It consists of a handle and a blade. The 13/0 material from which the knife is made is fully recyclable and suitable for contact with food. The blade of the knife is hardened and then serrated to ensure its cutting function. Due to its generally smaller size compared to the Table Knife, it can also be used for children. Overall length 210 mm.

Cutlery care

In order to maintain the cutlery's original appearance, please observe the following guidelines even if you use a dishwasher :

  • rinse the cutlery after use to remove any food residue, even if you plan to wash it later,
  • place the cutlery in the dishwasher in the designated basket, with the blade facing upwards and the other parts also facing upwards,
  • the cutlery must always be in an upright position in the dishwasher so that the water residue can run off after rinsing,
  • choose a shorter wash cycle or dry the cutlery by hand after the cycle to prevent rust stains caused by food or detergent residues,
  • if cutlery is left in the hot and humid environment of the dishwasher for too long, it can also corrode.

Keep in mind that a prerequisite for the cutlery not to corrode is that you allow it to form a so-called "passivation layer" on the surface. This is ensured by following the above principles and you will enjoy nice cutlery for a long time.

Quality cutlery

In order for cutlery to retain its original appearance, it needs a little care. Rinse your cutlery after use to remove food residue, even if you plan to wash it later. If you use a dishwasher, choose a shorter cycle and dry the cutlery by hand. This will prevent rust stains that form from food residue or when cutlery is left in the hot and humid environment of the dishwasher for too long.
