Competition Rules: "Contest for a Stainless Steel Halušky Strainer"

I. Promoter and Organizer of the Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer")

The promoter and organizer of the competition is Berndorf Sandrik s.r.o., Bystrická 1571, 966 81 Žarnovica, Slovak Republic, Company ID (IČO): 36 639 893, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the District Court of Banská Bystrica, Section Sro, Insert No. 10654/S. Contact details: berndorf@berndorf.sk.

II. Purpose of the Competition

1. The aim of the competition is to build brand awareness and enhance the visibility of the Berndorf Sandrik brand.
2. The competition is announced and published in posts on the Organizer's social media networks.
3. The Promoter's social networks primarily refer to Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/BerndorfSandrik) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/berndorf_sandrik/) (hereinafter referred to as "social networks").

III. Competition Period

The competition takes place from 26 August 2026, from the time of publication of the post, until 30 August 2026, 23:59.

IV. Eligibility to Participate

1. The competition takes place within the territory of the Slovak Republic.
2. Any natural person who has reached the age of 18 and meets the participation conditions set forth in Article V of these Rules (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant") may enter the competition.
3. The following are excluded from the competition:
   • Employees of the Promoter and persons close to them within the meaning of Section 116 of the Civil Code,
   • Persons in an employment relationship with the Organizer.
4. If a Participant is proven to be a person under this clause, they lose their status as a Participant. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify Participants from the competition who do not meet all conditions set out in these Rules.
5. Any participant who fraudulently interferes with the competition mechanism in order to obtain a prize is also disqualified from the competition.

V. Course of the Competition

1. A Participant enters the competition by meeting the following conditions:
   • First condition: Follow the Berndorf Sandrik profile on Facebook or Instagram.
   • Second condition: "Like" (❤️) the competition post.
   • Third condition: State your favorite halušky and your cooking/preparation technique in a comment under the competition post, and tag (@) a person who also loves halušky.
2. A Participant may enter this competition multiple times (by submitting multiple comments), provided that a different person is tagged in each comment.
3. Every Participant who meets the specified conditions during the competition period will be included in the draw.
4. A Participant is entitled to only one prize within a single competition.
5. The total number of competition winners selected by the Organizer is 1.
6. The determination of the winner will take place via a draw on 31 August 2026 from among all participating contestants across both platforms (Facebook and Instagram) using a randomizer application (Lukky).
7. The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.

VI. Prize and Awarding

1. By meeting the competition conditions, participants can win:
   • Stainless Steel Halušky Strainer (Product Code: 5310001544) valued at €24.98 incl. VAT.
2. The winner will be notified of their prize no later than 3 calendar days after the draw date via social media. The winner will be asked to provide mailing details for prize delivery. If the winner fails to claim the prize within 3 calendar days of notification, refuses the prize, or fails to provide a mailing address, the Organizer is entitled to select an alternate winner.
3. Participants have no legal claim to the prize, and it cannot be enforced through judicial channels. The results of the competition are final. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or exchanged for a different prize.

VII. Special Provisions

1. If it is proven that the winner is an employee of the Promoter or a person close to them, entitlement to the prize lapses, and the prize forfeits to the Promoter.
2. In the event of reasonable suspicion of fraud or abuse of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or modify the terms of the competition.
3. The Promoter delivers the prize to the winner exclusively within the territory of the Slovak Republic.
4. The Promoter will dispatch the prize to the winner no later than 30 days after the provision of complete contact details.
5. Neither the Promoter nor the Organizer is responsible for incorrect contact details provided by the winner.
6. The Promoter is not liable for technical issues related to participation in the competition (social network functionality) or for the delivery of the shipment by the courier company.
7. Winner's obligations upon taking delivery of the prize: The winner is obliged to properly accept the goods from the courier company, inspect the integrity of the packaging, and report any defects immediately (no later than within 24 hours) to the carrier.
8. Prizes exceeding the threshold established by applicable law are subject to income tax under Act No. 595/2003 Coll. on Income Tax, as amended.
9. Participation in the competition is voluntary. By participating in the competition, each Participant expresses agreement with these rules.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to change the terms or rules of the competition at any time without prior notice, with any changes published on www.berndorf.sk.

VIII. Personal Data Protection

1. By participating in the competition, the Participant grants free consent for the Promoter, as the data controller pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll., to process their personal data in the scope of first name, surname, email address, and optionally photograph/profile name, for the purpose of publishing them on the Promoter's social networks as part of the competition evaluation, creating a database, and using them for marketing purposes related to the competition. Consent may be revoked at any time in writing at the email address berndorf@berndorf.sk.
2. The rights of the data subject are governed by Article 15 of the GDPR (right of access to data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic).

IX. Final Provisions

1. These rules are published on the website www.berndorf.sk and stored at the Promoter's office.
2. Anyone who demonstrates a legitimate legal interest is entitled to inspect these rules at the Promoter's office.
3. These rules enter into effect on 26 August 2026.
