"Friends of Children" Children's Cutlery Contest

I. Contest Sponsor and Organizer (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”)

The promoter and organizer of the contest is Berndorf Sandrik s.r.o., Bystrická 1571, 966 81 Žarnovica, Slovak Republic, Company ID No.: 36 639 893, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the District Court in Banská Bystrica, Section Sro, File No. 10654/S. Contact information: berndorf@berndorf.sk.

II. Purpose of the Contest

The goal of the contest is to build brand awareness and increase the visibility of the Berndorf Sandrik brand.

The contest is announced and published in posts on the organizer’s social media accounts.

The organizer’s social media platforms include, in particular, Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/BerndorfSandrik) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/berndorf_sandrik/) (hereinafter referred to as “social media”).

III. Contest Period

The contest runs from October 20, 2026, at the time of the post’s publication, until October 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

IV. Eligible Participants

The contest takes place within the territory of the Slovak Republic.

Any individual who is at least 18 years of age and meets the conditions for participation in the contest as set forth in Article V of these rules (hereinafter referred to as the “contest participant”) may participate in the contest.

The following are excluded from the contest:

employees of the contest organizer and their close relatives as defined in Section 116 of the Civil Code,
persons in an employment relationship with the Contest Organizer.

If it is proven that a Contest Participant falls under this provision, they shall lose their status as a Contest Participant. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude from the Contest any Contest Participant who does not meet all the conditions set forth in these Rules.

Any contestant who fraudulently interferes with the contest mechanism for the purpose of winning a prize will also be disqualified from the contest.

V. Contest Procedure

A Contest Participant enters the Contest by posting a comment under the contest post on Facebook or Instagram during the Contest period, stating for whom they would win the children’s cutlery set (a boy or a girl) and what dish the little eater should try first with it.

The Organizer would appreciate it if the participant follows the Berndorf Sandrik profile, “likes” (❤️) the post, or shares the post with others. However, these steps are not required to enter the contest and do not affect the chances of winning.

A contest participant may add multiple comments under the contest post, but will be entered into the drawing once per platform (Facebook, Instagram), regardless of the number of comments.

Every contest participant who meets the specified conditions during the contest period will be included in the drawing.

Each contest participant is eligible to win only one prize per contest.

The total number of contest winners to be drawn by the contest organizer is 2.

Winners will be determined by a drawing on October 26, 2026, from among all participating contestants on both platforms (Facebook and Instagram) using the Lukky drawing app.

The contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or otherwise associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. or the social media platforms Facebook and Instagram. Each contest participant fully releases Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, and Instagram from any liability in connection with the contest.

VI. Prize and Prize Delivery

By fulfilling the contest terms and conditions, you can win one of two prizes:

Friends of Children children’s cutlery set – for boys (product code: 0101689200) valued at €12.79 including VAT,
Friends of Children children’s cutlery set – for girls (item code: 0101690200) valued at €12.79 including VAT.

Each set contains 4 pieces (children’s spoon, children’s fork, children’s knife, and coffee spoon) made of stainless steel.

Each of the two winners will receive one set of children’s cutlery. The first winner drawn will choose the prize variant (boys’ or girls’), and the second winner drawn will receive the remaining variant.

Contest winners will be notified of their prize no later than 3 calendar days after the drawing date via a message on social media. Winners will be asked to provide their mailing address so that the prize can be shipped to them. If a winner does not respond within 3 calendar days of being notified of the prize, declines the prize, or fails to provide a mailing address, the contest organizer is entitled to select an alternate winner.

Contest participants have no legal claim to the prize, and it cannot be enforced through legal action. The contest results are final. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can participants request a different prize.

VII. Special Provisions

If it is proven that the contest winner is an employee of the contest organizer or a person closely related to the organizer, no claim to the prize arises and the prize is forfeited in favor of the organizer.

In the event of reasonable suspicion of fraud or abuse of the contest, the organizer reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or modify the contest terms and conditions.

The contest organizer will deliver prizes to winners only within the territory of the Slovak Republic.

The organizer will send the prize to the winners no later than 30 days after receiving their complete contact information.

Neither the contest sponsor nor the organizer is responsible for incorrect contact information provided by the winner.

The Contest Organizer is not liable for technical issues related to participation in the contest (the functionality of social media platforms) or for the delivery of the prize by the shipping company.

The winner’s obligations upon receiving the prize: The winner is required to properly accept the goods from the courier company, check that the packaging is intact, and, in the event of any defects, report them to the carrier without delay (no later than 24 hours).

Prizes exceeding the amount specified by applicable law are subject to income tax pursuant to Act No. 595/2003 Coll., as amended.

Participation in the contest is voluntary. By participating in the contest, each participant agrees to the rules.

The Organizer reserves the right to change the terms and conditions or rules of the contest at any time without prior notice, and will publish any changes on the website www.berndorf.sk.

VIII. Protection of Personal Data

By participating in the contest, the participant grants, free of charge, consent for the contest organizer, as the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll., to process their personal data—including first name, last name, email address, and, where applicable, a photograph or profile name, for the purpose of publishing such information on the organizer’s social media accounts as part of the contest evaluation, creating a database, and using it for marketing purposes related to the contest. Consent may be revoked at any time in writing by emailing berndorf@berndorf.sk.

The rights of the data subject are governed by Article 15 of the GDPR (the right of access to data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority).
